The Double Diamond Lodge speaks rustic elegance. Enter a calm and relaxing atmosphere where rich wood craftsmanship greets your eyes in this traditional yet contemporary and sustainably built home. Handcrafted by a master carpenter using on-site trees, stone, driftwood, FSC certified materials and locally salvaged lumber from a lumber-mill deconstruction. More space efficient than a traditional lodge and with private suites adjoining a great room, this work-of-art building combines the best elements of a log cabin with Native American Longhouse.

On the sunny side of Kitson Ridge, sheltered by tall fir trees, cradled by a forest of cedar, maple, fir and madrone, the setting invites your eyes to take in vistas from the crest of nearby snow covered Diamond Peak to the emerald waters of Hills Creek Lake. Every new day brings awe inspiring visions of mist rising from the forest above the Hills Creek Arm, sunlight dancing on waves, magical cloud formations and thrilling sightings of Bald Eagles, ospreys, geese, ducks, deer, elk and so much more!

The design of the building and grounds inspires you to explore
the surrounding trails that wind through the forest and invites
you to discover their secrets. In the summer months, when the
lake is at full level, a shoreline trail and dock are available for you
to swim, fish and launch your canoe.
